  • Oh bless him!  What is it?  My son used to have awful ear infections at that age so I can really empathise with you. ☕️ 🍪

Yet another garden tool has given up. I've had a border fork, a garden spade and a garden fork,  ( not my lovely old one ) a rake and a hoe break on me this year.
Why are handles so crap these days?

Sick toddler :/  He's normally restless on a full moon but running a temperature into the 40s as well tonight.

I spoke too soon ... son phoned ... he’s got an ear infection ... he’s 46 ... it’s an occupational hazard ... he does sound & production for musicians etc so wears headsets a lot ... usually the right drops or something will nip it in the bud but sometimes it flares up. Hopefully ibuprofen will control it until he can get to his doctors surgery. Typical isn’t it, that someone who was prone to ear problems as a child should choose a profession where he’s doing stuff that will exacerbate that 🙄

I think this must be teething problems again. He's a bit prone to gum infections sadly. His temperature has been up and down all day but I hope he sleeps a bit more tonight. We've all been shuffling around like zombies today :#
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
  • Awww bless ... hope you all get a better night’s sleep 🛏 😴 🐑 🐑 🐑

He seems more settled tonight. Once I've got this baby off to sleep I'll have a go at some myself hopefully...

I only found 1 vine weevil tonight by the way. I did find another elephant hawk moth caterpillar though. That's at least 5 in the garden now. :)

More of a turd than a herd. I thought this last one was a cat crap on the grass and nearly bagged it up :#
