Lants - it must be the time of year for dental appointment cancellations. Last week I had mine on 4th September cancelled and we rearranged it for the 10th September.

I meant to say Ante, how nice it will be for you to see your sister again after so long. I have a nephew's wedding coming up on 21st September and my youngest brother and his daughter are coming over from Australia to attend it. I haven't seen either of them for 4 years when I went out to Australia for her wedding. That will be very exciting.

I'm so glad for you LB. Four years is far too long but I understand. Australia is far, far away for regular visits.

I wanted to watch The chase, but fell asleep in front TV.

Many people who moved into new houses at that time appreciated getting hot water from a back boiler at the coal fire.
When we bought this house the hot water was from a back boiler, an immersion heater and a geyser over the sink.

PF, if the forecast is correct you may get the painting done at the weekend.

Chive, my nephew and his fiancée couldn't organise a bun fight in a bakery (or the slightly more vulgar version). Put it this way, they 'forgot' to send out the details as to how we were supposed to book accommodation, what the dress code is, what the meal is and how to notify whether there are any dietary requirements. My Ozzie bother had to text me to ask where the wedding was going to be and what time it was. Its all going perfectly - not! I'm sure it will be all right on the night as they say.
