I don't have any tomatoes :'( but will get some from my friend once they ripen.

That's a nice mix of tomatoes LB.

M-U, have you got a glut of cucumbers this year?

Considering that I thought they were all going to be Sungold I'm quite pleased that I got a mix now as the flavours are subtly different.

MU Alfie and bum are fine.  He's been very good.  Goodnight Chive.

Sorry, I’ve forgotten - why has Alfie got a Magic Bum?🤔

Evening all, been busy ‘doing stuff’ for hols. All indoor work. Just as well - been far too hot for outdoor stuff.

Glad your finger is feeling better Chey. I remember when I literally snipped the top off a finger with some very sharp secateurs. Hurt like hell and bled like the proverbial - very dramatic drips all over the patio.

Deep dolls house envy here MU. Have you decided which era you’ll style it?

Night night Chive. See you soon.
    I don't get Alfie's bum either
25 years ago I chopped the top of the middle finger on my right hand off knocking down a coal bunker in my garden. It was a shard of brick that sliced right through my rubber glove and I didn't realise that the top of my finger was inside it. Luckily my neighbour was able to rush me straight to A&E to get sorted. That was one scary episode! Still got a little bit of a scar today.

Nasty , LB that must have been horrid . I think I have mentioned before ,I put the garden fork through the side of my foot many years ago .I didn’t feel a thing until I pulled it out .

Ouch ouch Ruby. Seems like a few of us have had injuries in the past.

I think the reference to Alfie's bum is that he used to miss the litter tray.
