Morning - 27C in the shade already (nearly 39C in the shed - despite the windows and doors being left open all day and night for the last few weeks) - too hot for me I'm afraid. Much cooler indoors thank goodness.

Joyce - I'm so sorry to hear the sad news about your daughter's cat. Was (s)he very old?

All this Chr****as cake talk... Bah humbug!

Joyce so sorry to hear of one of your daughter's Bengals having a stroke.vvwhat a shock hoping things improve.  MU annihteresting story passed down through the decades with the bath in the front room and the handmade rug.  Enjoy collecting for your dolls house.  Have you found things at the museum to put inside?   Chive and Deb's enjoy your lunch and have a break from the week days.  I'm afraid I won't eat lamb or beef and prefer fish as I don't feel as bad about it.  It's very hot and im perspiring.   C*****d the bathroom today hard work but done.  LB enjoy your visit to your rellies.  Runny enjoy baking your Christmas cake will you be coating it with brandy etc., it will be nicely matured.  Hope hubby is feeling a little better and a little less stressful for you.  Best wishes to all those in the quiet corner came hope you are okay.

    Afties all.
Joyce how terribly sad for your daughter. I know how much she loves her cats - like most of us on here. Losing a pet is like losing a family member. We who have pets know how tough it can be making the kindest decision but I hope that her cherished memories will ease the sorrow.
All this talk of baking CC has got me feeling twitchy now. Might have to give that some serious consideration shortly.
I have got the most serious Dolls House envy EVER. I need Ruby's OH to knock me one up or find one for a fiver on that famous auction site. Well please tell me I can dream about it!!
All those having posh nosh today read this and weep - crisps and ice cream! Surely that is a balanced diet with at least 1 of my five-a-day?
I'm not actually having that as I have no crisps.

Have been sitting for miles in a roasting hot car as traffic moved very slowly towards the beach.  Going to have a bowl of cereal for brunch.

LB , maybe S---- could bring you a doll's house in a few months time.
