Something to pass the time on a rainy day @Dovefromabove ?

Wish I was closer, coz if the forecast is to be believed I don’t think I’ll be getting outside much šŸŒ§šŸ™„

Morning all/afties Pat. Stay tucked upĀ  :)
I'll see your drizzle @Dovefromabove, and raise you.... ;)
I was awake a bit earlier, so I took pity on daughter and took her to work. She owes me now.
Not showing your age at allĀ @chicky. She's justĀ theĀ best voice we've ever produced in this country. DiscussĀ  :DĀ
Did you get back to sleep AuntyR?Ā

I’ve just spotted that @chicky ... a good way to get up closer to some of the gorgeous carved and painted roof bosses 😊

Why does it always rain on me, is it because I lied when I was 17?

    Only when you were 17?

We appear to have had some wet air, enough to moisten teh soil but not register on th erain meter.Ā  Might get a bit this pm and a bit more on Sunday.Ā  Ā That's good as it's the annual flea market all over Mutiers-les-Mauxfaits tomorrow and that's better done in dry weather.

I have been for a blood test to check uric acid levels as my knees and one hip and shoulder are having a "crise".Ā  Ā Results this evening which is impressive.

I hope everyone who needs it gets rain and that those who don't aren't drowned today.Ā Ā

    Oh no, it's raining again
Oh, will my heart ever mend
You're old enough some people say
To read the signs and walk away
It's only time that heals the pain
And makes the sun come out again

I don't suppose it's surprising that we have so many songs about rain in Britain.Ā
    B)

@Fairygirl Ā if by 'this country' you mean Scotland, then maybe - I'd have to think about that. But in the UK as a whole - then I'd say no; she's got a good voice, but some of her contemporaries have/had better

@AuntyRach That thunderstorm rolled over us at about 3.30 on it's way to you. OH slept through it.

The first time Possum "danced" was to Annie Lennox singing Sweet Dreams are Made of This.Ā  Possum was 7 months old and sat on the floor in just a nappy on a warm August day and rocking it fit to burst.

It has grown dark here and gusty.Ā  We've had to rescue the rubber plant which is having its summer hols on the terrace.
