    Interesting that the Met have had to add a brown temperature range to  British meteorology maps. The red looks pretty tame, these days.

    That's interesting. I had the impression that the 40+ temperatures were much more widespread.

    We’re in the very pale pink to white bit.
    Wasn't over hot here,   I’m still waiting for my bit of global warming to hit.

    The sub-25 white bit or the 37-38 white bit?

    Careless to use white for two different temperature ranges!
    The dark brown bit that we're in is a lot smaller than I thought.

    I'm amazed how far north the brown (38 degrees) extends. And how far west - into Cheshire!!

    I think Lincolnshire caught some of the worst of it.

    the 25 - 28° bit. Warm for us tomorrow about 19°. Can cope with that.

    London is maxxing at 27oC  this week and next - feeliing like a lot. 19oC at night - warm for sleeping.  Bad news for wild fires in the south.
