I don't know about reservoirs but there are still quite a few streams here that aren't flowing despite the rain we've had. I've allowed my 1000 litre water tank to drain slowly into the ground as I don't need the water.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
That's a really important court case (which I had missed seeing). It seems to do with the water

in the name of agriculture is no way to go. But yes, farmers need
support too. And govt sticking up two fingers to EU env directives within days of leaving.
Looking at the southeast rainfall for August, the local variation is incredible. Regions with "exceptionally low" rainfall right next to areas of "normal" rainfall!
Interesting weather insights from ex-Met Office forecaster on apps and real time weather radar. He emphasises that forecast temps are always air temperatures - "at eye level" and ground level temp may well be several degrees colder. So if a forecast says 5C it may well be 0C on the earth.
We've been away for 3 weeks. In that time there's been next to norainfall in this area (mid Suffolk). Only 3 or 4 days with any half decent rainfall since March and not much in the 6 months before that.
Mature trees, hedges and shrubs are on their last legs. If we don't have a wet autumn & winter we'll be in serious trouble.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
