    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
    Love that pic @Pat E 😂

i was woken about an hour ago by a spectacular electrical storm followed by a ten minute deluge. I got up to pull the big windows close and made myself a decaf ... now the storm is over and it’s very muggy again so the windows are back up wide open... the wood pigeons are cooing and there’s a wren chip-chipping in the garden ... the morning has arrived ...

Morning Dove. I've been awake since 4am. Thunder and lightning here at 5, with wind and rain. Calming down now. I see we have another one forecast for tomorrow night.
I got fed up waiting for you so went up the hill myself.
I didnae fancy yer chances comin' doon on thon skateboard, hen   :D

Lovely pic Pat - I like the wobble  :)

Wonderful photos Pat and Fairy .....and so different 🌏🌍

Great cricket game last night 🏏.....but we lost ☹️  Thunder and lightning held off til we got home, but then we had our fair share too 🙀

Thanks for all the good wishes on my work exit !  Although it would be “early” retirement, my work pension starts to pay out after my next birthday, so that gives me the space and freedom to really think about what I might want to do next .....a luxury I am very grateful for 👍🏻

........However, I am not free for a few more months, so best get a wriggle on 🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️🏃🏼‍♀️

    Morning all.
We had 3 pretty decent rumbles and 20 seconds or rain around 11.30 last night, and that was it.

    Hi all.
Very wet, muggy night, not much sleep achieved.
Had some plants delivered yesterday, could not really have come at a worse time, but potted them all up and left them in the shade.

Stuff to start re-doing the woodland: Brunnera, variegated Persicaria, Heucherella and Paris polyphylla.
I also got a dark leaved Colocasia for a more tropical bed.

gotta love a dark leaved Colocasia. I've potted up runner from mine last year and now they're sending out runner. Should I remove the runners and keep one good parent plant or just go with the flow?

Well ... we had another dramatic episode of thunder and lightening and a downpour and then I went back to sleep ... woke about ten minutes ago.

Sorry @Fairygirl ... the plumber turned up after lunch instead of this morning so I had to supervise the replacement of taps in the bathroom ... now the shower is fully functioning again and the boiler should stop countering when it shouldn’t.  Glad you had a good walk ... great view 😊

@chicky that sounds like a great plan 😎

@punkdoc 😊 lovely mix of plants ... we have what we call ‘the wilderness’, just a little patch under the ash tree and behind the pond ... the hedgehogs love it there and so do the frogs 😊
