Morning to both of the early birds.

Cool sunny day here today so no sitting outside in the sun for me, but it’s not bad inside with the wood heater going as usual.

Those fires in Spain sound bad. We only get a brief headline. Does anyone know more. I’m wondering how the Tour de France will go if they get down towards Spain as they usually do. Not let ng to go before the start of the race.

We’ve not seen much about the fires either @Pat E

Ive been down and made my coffee and had a barefoot wander around the garden in my ‘purple dressing gown’ 😉... it’s lovely out there ... OH cut the grass and trimmed the edges yesterday, accentuating the wilder bits ... it looks great in the morning light ... and Mrs Tiggywinkle and pals have eaten all their supper 😊

Good morning.   Up and about early for me after a night out with the mosaic group.   Such a jolly bunch of ladies, of whom half or more are also in the gardening club.

Glad you're improving @Lily Pilly and hope Mr Pat is OK after his latest session.   No recent news on the fires in Spain and no idea - and less interest I'm afraid - in the tour de France.   Don't even know where it starts this year.

Quiet day pottering about at home for me.  OH is about to disappear off to play in a golf match somewhere north of St Nazaire and Rusty's mum and dad are coming to fetch him after their rellies marathon in the UK.   He's been lovely but I suspect our two cats will be relieved and probably the frogs too since he discovered our pond in the heatwave.

    Have a lovely day everyone.
