Morning all/afties Pat. Hope you're not too weary from the visitors, and hubby has had a good day. Love to you both x
Glad you had a nice time last night chicky.  :)
Is the forecast good for the wedding, Dove? Fingers crossed.
Listen carefully Hosta. The answer is - NO when you get asked that question  :D
Been wet through the night here but it's just the light stuff now. Not sure if we'll get the thunder - think it's mainly the eastern side that's getting it.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Hi all.
Spent yesterday taking stock in the woodland and removing debris. At the moment it looks terrible, but I am sure eventually I will regain a sense of perspective.
A day watching cricket for me, I am too tired to do anymore removing of bits of tree.
How can you lie there and think of England

Morning all, evening Pat, best wishes to you both
Chicky, that made me chuckle! I've been making rose petal confetti for months with kings donations of roses from so many of the gardens I work in. I found that you microwave the petals a few at a time on a medium heat between kitchen paper and they take out the moisture whilst keeping the scent! I'll take a picture later and show you but it's gorgeous!!

Impressive AuntyRach, thought you didn't class yourself as an early riser! 👍😀
Pdoc so sorry to hear about your woodland, please keep positive. Nature is a cycle Iof life and this is a partof it, so many new things will take advantage of the space and light it will be a real adventure discovering your new woodland! I think you should do a nature trail in a few months and see what you find!

Morning Hosta! No rain here either and the pond has turned into a bathing pool for birds....shallow end has had to be extended! You need to start saying no to overtime.....I don't know anyone who's regret is I wish I'd spent more time at work!!! 😉
Morning Lyn, morning Fairy😀 nice to see you! Hope your both well 😊
Morning Dove, just working 3 hours today so I'll be getting organised for the trip also 😀probably involve less tennis watching than you tho 😉
Have a great day all, nearly the weekend!

Lovely day yesterday.  Wavre market was a bust until, as we were leaving, we came across Possum's godmum and kids and her mum.   Neither of them answers emails so a lovely surprise and we all went off to have lunch together.   Then last night I had dinner with the friend from the dance club who took over the presidency when I left and we had a good chat about all that and our families.

Possum was out with friends form her course and had a good time too.   Today is a quiet, sewing and admin day as we're off to Maastricht tomorrow, Bruges on Saturday and packing and cleaning on Sunday.   Home on Monday if all goes well.

@Dovefromabove and @WonkyWomble - enjoy all the preps and hope you have good weather and a good time regardless.

@punkdoc - chin up.  Enjoy the cricket and take time to get a sense of perspective and then enjoy the planning and lating that will follow.

Everyone hoping for rain - I hope you get some.   Everyone need ing to dry out, I hope you get some sun.

Everyone with a hurty or caring for loved ones or recovering form illness, big hugs and take care.

    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
We’ve got a light shower at the moment and I think it rained overnight too; I have the containers a good soaking yesterday, so hopefully everything will be ok until we get home on Sunday evening.

Next door are keeping an eye on everything and feeding the hedgehogs 🦔

All we have to do now is  shower and pack ... planning to leave mid morning.

Have a good weekend @Hostafan1 ((hug))
