    Good morning all  :) ☕️
Its s beautiful morning and is beginning to warm up ... we’ve not had the higher temperatures many of you have had ... the warmest day was yesterday at not quite 22C ... it’s going to be a lot warmer than that today 😎

@Fairygirl.  I just can't understand it. I renewed online when I was 70, no problem. Renewed my passport in 2017 (also online from memory) so new photo then. All the info was correct, checked several times. Perhaps they just don't like the new photo! It will be a right pain to have to go to main PO in town and do it manually.

Morning all/afties Pat if you're there.
Thankfully cooler here Dove, although still too hot for me. We've got rain coming later, so that's the 3 day heat over with. You're welcome to it!  :D
Hope chicky has a good day. She'll be weary later.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Morning all.
    Cooler here too.
I've got a sprinkler going after sun, heat and a hideous desiccating wind for 3 days

Morning everyone. We’ve had a quiet day.

Collected some more pine cones for the wood heater. We planted 1000 Pinus pinea plants in our early days here, and we were hoping to harvest pine nuts to nibble, but the Black Cockatoos always beat us to them. 😡

    Have a good Saturday. 😁

I must do some deadheading before it heats up too much. I’ve also hit some brassicas that are ready to plant out ... I may not do that today but I must move them into the shade for the duration ...

I’ve recorded Stormzy.... I was in bed by nine thirty last night 😴

Son is unexpectedly going to Glasto ... the musician he’s production/tour manager for decided yesterday morning that as the weather is set fair there are some acts he’d like to see ... son phoned ‘someone’ and complimentary tickets are waiting for them ‘on the gate’ ... fancy being able to wait until you know what the weathers going to be like before you book 😎

We’ve been out there watering pots, digging spuds and picking peas. I’ve also done some deadheading, chopping back etc and took the bull by the horns and did what instinct had been telling me to do for a couple of years and cut the Ribes aureum right back to about 12” ... it only had one main stem and had been knocked sideways/trodden on in some incident in the past ... perhaps it was when I fell and broke my foot a couple of years ago 🤔 ... anyway it was so lopsided (at an angle of 25degrees of so from the vertical) that not only did it look odd but it looked as if it would snap if a wood pigeon sat on it.
Hopefully it’ll throw out some new shoots from the base fingers crossed 🤞

I managed until 10 after "Celebrity" Gogglebox. If my life depended upon it, I couldn't tell you even half of them were ( even when their names appeared, I still said " who? " )
    Devon.

@Hostafan1, we love it, when on the rare occasions we watch a celebratory show, we can't recognise a single person. A sign you are doing something right, I think.
