    I think most of us are in the same situation @purplerallim. Interesting on Beechgrove garden they are talking about various varieties bred to mature more quickly,  can't remember the details but it will be on the archive programmes, on  i player.

    Haven't seen the latest episode,  but was disappointed by the one I saw last. 
  • No sign of my tomatoes ripening yet. Plenty of fruit set though so promising crop.

  • This year my garden is a wild life refuge. At least,, that is my excuse and I am sticking to it!
    I have about 8 pea pods on my pea plants. yeah! Be grateful for small mercies.

    Re: Beechgrove and tomatoes , they initially talked about this much earlier in the season when they were planting. In the recent episode there was only a passing mention,  that they were waiting to see how the plants performed.
