Mr Vine, you have any number of photos. I can't believe the lengths the b***gers are going to. Crazy. Surely the committee must know the guy is a thief and wouldn't want him anywhere need their patch? They should just ask him to leave. Pronto.
@Fire - it's the Town Council and they have a tenancy agreement. For better or worse accusation of theft on its own is not enough for them to then cancel that agreement, it needs to be proven.
So it's up to the police now to decide if there's enough evidence.
I was hoping when challenged the perp would just come clean, but he's gone down the lying route.
The date of his proof of purchase was the day my wife tested positive for Covid and we started isolating!
It all tally's up, the time other tenants noticed mine gone and he got his. The fact other items from my tunnel that I can prove ownership of were also found there.
You'd hope it would be pretty much open and shut! I think the main challenge right now is police time for what to them will be only a minor case and low priority.
Obviously it's a lot to us. It's not the money, it's not the items, it's basically having the plot stolen from us because we can't think of continuing there if this lying thief just gets away with it and keeps our stuff.
It would have been better if it had been a random act from someone breaking in, as at least we wouldn't have had to look at them using our things every time we went!
Threat of having abuse or other things damaged or taken for our boys to witness.
At long last, a full day on the plots, finally got some progress on revamping the raspberries. Got the last of the old ones out, and dug out a lot of weeds especially bindweed, some roots were nearly finger thickness. Started to burn some of the ones that I had dug previously, that I had got a bit dry.

But:
I've sent the police:
photos showing the tunnel on my plot
Photos of my shelves inside the tunnel on my plot
Photos of the trays etc. In use on my shelves in my tunnel on my plot
Photos of the area where my poly tunnel was with the snapped stakes
My proof of purchase email for the tunnel
I would have hoped that would all be enough. But it's been complicated by his "proof of purchase".

It's so crap.
