My problem is that the blueberry bushes are at the front south facing side of the house but when I net them I have to move them around the back of the house and as they are getting bigger each year it gets tricky, worth it for the tasty berries though. Good luck with the show.

GWRS that is brilliant is that a watercolour painting?
Other plot holders had to harvest the cherrys fast as the black birds and starlings were starting to eat them
Went looked around a wildlife park today for there fun day did a nature trail - so much wildlife massive lakes
Popping to plot later to get my newly painted bench there after a bit of strimming

Did the O/H 's baking win then @GWRS, but not your veg, or just the painting.

Gardengirl ,the water colour is a trophy 🏆, it’s for the most points in the Veg section , it’s the old post office in the Village
    Purplerallim , the o/h put in all the entries , a very good year   7 1st , 11nd & 10rds eg.
cookery was sausage rolls , chutney which she got a 3rd , 2nd in cabbage , raspberry jam , Ist for Strawberry cordial ( nice with lemonade or Processco 🍾) & strawberry 🍓 jam
Also entered Portuguese Tarts & Welsh cakes in cookery but they where not winners , although me and next door think so
It was a good day , having a rest today hard work being a labourer 🍺

Thanks GWRS now I understand the painting
Went to the allotment yesterday did some digging and found 2 different metal poles well in the ground tried too dig out so deep in ground still need to dig deeper down, lots of watering cans filled and used, fed birds spotted lots of baby starlings on the fatballs

Strimmed the car park yesterday to cover with bark chippings - Today phoned and managed to get a load of bark chippings as they were going to deliver so managed to get them to put in our car park instead of other end of site

Lucky another plot holder helped us spread the bark chippings over the car park looks much better most of it covered hope it stops the weeds growing so much

    not getting notifications again

Not posted for some time as everything has been going along nicely and just the usual stuff watering, weeding, harvesting, have sown more lettuce, runner beans, broad beans, french beans, carrots, beetroot, and various herbs, planted out leeks, and some of winter greens / cabbage still need to get out the turnips and swede.
