The Mrs Wilderbeast and I loved show tonight we both like monty and all the other presenter's. I'd just like to say though what was Francis wearing on her feet, sandals Id kill myself tripping over them🥴🥴. Anyways I loved the show and determined to get a clematis

Hmm. I thought it was a bit flat. Good instructional stuff from Monty and I enjoyed the exuberance of that chap from Nottingham. When Monty said Arthur So and So from Nottingham I had immediate preconceptions. They were shattered! However I felt Carol Klein’s piece from Brogdale went on too long and the preaching about peat free and alternative plant plots is getting heavy handed. I really was hoping the viewers’ videos would show us their gardens and not cute kids, cute dogs and recycling ad infinitum.

I enjoyed the show very much, for those that didn't or picked the programme to pieces then I would imagine one hour was torture.

I enjoyed the programme tonight. Thought Monty gave good advice for new gardeners. Having seen the "in memory" of the couple in South Africa in the credits. I googled and they were both killed by extremists shortly after filming whilst looking for more rare gladioli.  What a world we live in.

I think that this week was the first time in years I have been engaged for the full hour.  Loved it and appreciated the effort to help 'new' gardeners and the relative time spent on flowers v vegetables and fruit. It is so important for people to see the 'work' as well as the results for example, weeding is a fact of life and it might be worth having a section on common weeds one week.

The viewers videos were both entertaining and interesting, looking forward to next week.

I loved the tulip guy! So much so that I actually looked him up. Here is an interview with him - really pleasant lighthearted read if anybody is also interested

I too am an Arthur P fan. Think I’d seen it before (or another film from his garden) but it was well worth seeing again ... and I’m having to struggle so hard not to have chickens again 😍
