To be fair Monty did say that Carol was the great cuttings expert and gave her a great "big up"

Yes ... and I think they’re  working with mainly static cameras... I can’t remember seeing many/any tracking shots over the past couple of weeks. There’s only so many jobs that can be done standing still.

Seeing Monty's pot of dahlia cuttings full of roots was infuriating. I took 12 cuttings originally an all but 2 are dead with this being the grand total of developed roots-

I really enjoyed tonight’s episode - loads of informative stuff on plants I actually grow.

It was also a very fruitful episode for those playing GW bingo

    - This plant has such a lovely scent. Cut to presenter sniffing it. ✔️
    - A real pop of colour ✔️
    - Give the plant a good drink ✔️
    - Adam Frost calling himself Frosty ✔️
    - Nick Bailey saying ‘in terms of’ ✔️✔️✔️✔️✔️
    - Monty with the dogs. OK I know that’s a given ✔️
    - Monty with wheelbarrow ✖️

Just missed out on the full house.

Good show tonight, Nick Bailey's section on roses really helped me last time it was on and helped to refresh my brain again. Where was the jobs for the weekend, how will I possibly know what to do tomorrow now 🤣🤣

No wheelbarrow? Maybe next time 😅 I haven’t watched it yet - it will be my Saturday pm sofa/chill viewing.

  • I seem to remember the garden full of half-hardy perennials being shown just a few years ago!
