It's on at 9pm tonight, and ends with a Nigel tribute (an alert for those who would like to see that, or indeed for those who wouldn't).

Bless young Kelly in Llanelli and the free plants she’s growing for her neighbours ... her kind heart shines through and she’s a natural for the camera ... it loves  her ... a GW presenter of the future ⭐️

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

A smashing tribute to a smashing dog. I was watching it with my cat on my lap - he has been at the vets all week and on Tuesday and Wednesday I did not think he’d pull through. It made the clip even more poignant.

Definately a GW presenter of the future and what a lovely old fashioned kind thing to do giving away plants :)

As I said on the other thread...how odd that Monty followed up Carol's demonstration of taking cuttings with his own. But lovely to see Carol's beautiful garden in full bloom...it deserves more airtime that it's usually afforded. Lets see if they'll remember those new tomato plants he seeded for new viewers a couple of weeks back.

Off to take some cuttings of a couple of my salvias 😉

I wasn't the only one that thought it was odd then. Monty doesn't like to be out done, lots of the clips he follows with saying he's done this and that himself etc. Just the way he is I guess.

Nice to see Carol's garden, she's one of my favourite presenters, could listen to her all night. Though I have to admit I  will never keep up with all the Latin names that she seems to know so well.

Ha!ha! Yes Monty is the little mansplaining extra nobody needed at times. Agree on Carol she's always great to see on air. She did present a really nice programme on Channel 5 last year on gardens through the seasons. Wonder if it's available on demand from them.

On the other hand, as all teachers know, when you have explained something,  it's a good idea to do it again, briefly, in the hope that the students will pick up the bits they missed the first time. In effect you say, "Now that's how it's done so let's do it ourselves." I don't  find it surprising at all.
