robiwan, trouble is my body keeps reminding me I'm getting old but my hart and mine thinks otherwise. Then it catches up with me and I fall asleep, TV's the worst thing for me can't stay awake and watch it.
Me too. I fall asleep in front of the TV (even GW!) nearly every time nowadays. I am turning into my dad...
  • Nice thread folks 😊
Today I have given a cast iron bench I got on freecycle face lift with paint I also got on freecycle. I've put it in the corner so I can watch my new pond and all its activity. It's the last corner of my garden to finish and I'd like to plant a climbing rose behind the bench but it's very shady.

Great work, I like recycling too. You must be happy with your handy work. 😊

Thank you Kelibremner, I'm rather chuffed yes!  It's a lovely pond watching spot and I've already burnt a pizza sitting there!!!

My latest project is collecting my dead headed roses and drying them to make rose petal confetti for my step daughters wedding next month. I've already got a large lunchbox full and they still smell so fragrant! 😀

I'm proud of the fact that I dug over my garden for 6 solid hours.

My garden has completely got away from me this year so anything I do I should be proud of myself,  today I put annuals and dahlias in every available space but not many spaces left!
Ive gone off it really, doubt I’ll do much next year.

Weeded over half the vegetable garden and most of the flower garden. All said and done it filled up half the compost bin. We added a 5th one to our shopping list.
I should feel better about a job well done, except there is still so much to do. Bit of an empty victory, I'm afraid. The OH's verdict is, fill it with more seeds next year and they will block out the weeds. Technically, we have so many self seeding snap dragons, they could probably classify as a weed.
