  • I collected my first seeds today. Very proud of myself! Collected delphinium, antirinhum and foxglove. May seem trivial to the more seasoned gardeners but for me...I'm proud!

After filling some holes in the 'shed' decided to do some weeding in the 'wilderness' behind it and heard non-stop buzzing. The 'tree' at the end was alive with bees (honey bees?), butterflies and all sorts of flying creatures. Anyone know what the tree is? - I thought it was just a simple vine/creeper type plant but I think now its an actual tree.

@madpenguin Thanks. I thought so - I hate the stuff usually and spend all my time trying to eradicate it as it grows in from gardens on both sides..BUT, in this location it's absolutely brilliant.

It's much maligned @steveTu, but it's a great source of food, as @madpenguin says, and also hiding places for all sorts of things  :)
Think that may be a hoverfly in your first pic.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
