More over a few days, but saved a dahlia Bishop of Llandalf. Planted in the ground last year, wasn’t quick enough to protect it and snails chomped off all the new growth. Placed a mesh food dome over the top, covered in snail slime but the plant underneath is growing back. Planted out my pot grown dahlias. Suitably protected!
love dahlias just got a star wars one so excited  :)

Racked the garden, mowed the lawn, potted up about 150 seedlings, pulled up a load of grass and weeds from the flower beds, move the spent bulbs and there pots and replace with flowering pot's, watered the plants sat down to have a cup and fell asleep.  :) Pleased with the work I did but not falling asleep could have got more done.

robiwan, trouble is my body keeps reminding me I'm getting old but my hart and mine thinks otherwise. Then it catches up with me and I fall asleep, TV's the worst thing for me can't stay awake and watch it.

Plucked up the nerve to deal with a dead blackbird instead of telling OH to do it.

Cut as many nettles as I could carry from a neglected bit of municipal planting just up the road.  Sat on the back step in the late afternoon sunshine, with a cup of tea beside me, chopping them up for liquid feed and compost.  Six big jars now brewing, and the compost bin is full.

Sat in the garden and just enjoyed it instead of working in it!

....even so I now have a mental list of jobs to do from all the looking!........
