What an amazing night at Anfield 😀. Good job my Dad didn’t have any stitches in his recent escapade.....they wouldn’t have survived this evening ⚽️⚽️⚽️

    Is he a scouser chicky/
Amazing game, I didn't think they stood a chance.

He is indeed Pdoc ......inner city Liverpool.  Lots of the next generation follow them too (and the generation after that, glued to the screen in New Zealand 🇳🇿)

Glad you had good news from the doctors @Lizzie27 💕.  And have fun at Malvern tomorrow @Busy-Lizzie.  Hope you get good weather ☀️.  I remember Matty, but it was before I posted much on here, so she won’t remember me.

Garden club talk on Auriculas tonight ......one of my favourites, so looking forward to finding out more

    Good morning all  :)  ☕️
Drizzle here ... proper rain promised for later 🤞
OH has another long day ... probably not back until
    7 ish
Bad luck about the kettle @islander ... hope you can get another one soon. Sometimes there’s a lot to be said for staying snug and knitting 🧶 😉 I’ll be doing some of that today ... you could join me on the sofa ... I’ve got an orange and cardamom polenta cake that needs using up 😉
Amazing result for Liverpool ... I’ll bet Anfield was buzzing last night !!! That'll put your dad right on his feet @chicky

Odd coincidence or what ... both OH and I had dreams including a glass of whisky🥃

Steady downpour here from 9pm last night until about 6am. The weather is definitely doing 'hit and miss' this year. My potatoes are sadly bedraggled after two hard frosts this week - I hope they'll recover, I had earthed them up so they have a chance. Fortunately I hadn't risked planting anything more susceptible out yet.

Glad your Dad got to enjoy that evening at Anfield, Chicky. That should make him feel a lot better  :)

Working today so I'll catch you all later.

I wonder if it's elevation? Lyn and I are both quite high up, I think. Are you nearer sea level, Hosta?
