I enjoyed it this week. It seems lighter and fresher than before, yet still very informative. I was pleased to see my favourite hydrangeas "vanille frais" and "limelight" featured at the end too.

Carole seems a lot happier especially when she stands next to Brian I can see she has a wee sparkle in her eye.

I still miss Jim, but the new crew seems to be gelling well.  I'm really starting to enjoy the slightly modified format.

Just caught up with the latest episode. That garden near Ullapool was beautiful,  what a stunning setting.
I had to laugh at Brian producing the signed photograph that Carol gave him quite some years ago !

Yeah loved that bit, they seem to have a great rapport.

They do seem to be getting on well and I also enjoyed the Ullapool garden. A lot of work has gone into it, and I also liked the Maryhill balcony. I think that Carol's greenhouse has the edge on Brian's polytunnel but loved his little cupboard with the signed photo of her inside. Overall, I enjoyed the episode and the injection of humour that they can't help on Beechgrove now is very refreshing.

I like the fact that they requested suggestions for gardens to visit for the next series.  It at least suggests there will be another series.

I was surprised when they said it was the last in the present series - what a shame !
I know it usually finishes earlier than GW , but is it earlier than usual this year ?
They all seemed pretty cheerful though, maybe it's the relief of knowing they'll be back next year.

Yes it's a bit earlier than usual.  I think it used to be one until at least mid September.
Hope the programme gets a full run next year.

Me too. It was interrupted and cut short, but they are asking for gardens in Spring so hopefully Beechgrove will return.
