    we watch just for http://www.chrisbeardshaw.com/

far too much neeps and tatties for us.  we watch nonetheless and forward if we get too fed up veg plots/no dig plots/salad leaf tasting.

does anyone know how they even track viewer numbers these days?  we use freesay with a humax box and i am 100% sure they won't have a clue whether we watch or not.   so should the calling be....if they measure your viewing, please watch?   sorry, rambling...

That's weird BBC 2 Sunday shows a repeat of Beechgrove on at 12.30 with Jim McColl but no repeat of Gardeners world?

Snooker's on so schedules are tight I expect.  I record GW anyway so I can FF the dreary bits.

Yes I record both gardening shows on Sunday morning to watch in the afternoon, that way when Monty says "and here are some jobs that you can do this weekend" I say too late Monty they'll have to wait.

I usually record/watch the repeat of GW on a Sunday but saw it's not on. Have found a repeat tomorrow evening on one of the regional BBC2 - the only one as far as i can see.

It certainly won't be the same without him.  He's real 'old school' with a great depth of knowledge and enough age not to care if people don't agree with his opinions.
Hopefully he can make the occasional 'guest appearance'.  As for not holding tools properly, has anybody seen the way Mary Berry has to hold tools in the kitchen, but she still knows what she's doing.

    Floralies - BBC2 Sunday 12:30.

As for Mary Berry, it's different, I think.  She can still grip a knife well enough to chop but, apparently, Jim can't hold tools well enough to do some jobs correctly and, since he's showing how to do things, He feels it's important to show correct technique.  Having a very stupid knee at the mo I also sympathise with his worry about not getting up again once he's down.   At least I can roll about and huff and swear off camera while I get up again.

Thanks Obelixx, I had found that but had trouble finding a repeat of GW.

Not during a snooker weekend it would seem.  No time in the schedule.
