@Marlorena - I emailed the website folk to suggest it. So I'm sure there will be a 'Like' button by the afternoon  ;)

I didn't take many photos because I was carrying my one year old in one arm and my phone is a really awkward size for photo taking one handed.

But we're going again in two weeks for the Gardeners Fair so I'll try and take some more shots of the overall garden and planting.

@Busy-Lizzie, no problem re Lady em, but such a shame you are selling that lovely house, glimpsed between your gorgeous shots of roses. I still have Cecile Brunner envy re your roses on p.85.

Given we are all rose growers/enthusiasts/nuts I think its safe to say we all enjoy everyones posts of their lovely roses. Things do move on quickly though, I wonder if anyone saw my requests for comments/suggestions re my shortlisted yellow roses also on P.85? [emoji for hopeful!]

@Nollie … sorry, I missed that... so whilst waiting for anyone else to chime in, there is another I can tell you about that I've heard nothing but good things about.... 'Golden Beauty'.. which is also known as 'South Africa' in some countries...

Oh no problem, thanks @Marlorena, another one to look at! There is so much conflicting information on the internet. I do still like Korresia, but some sites say prefers a cooler spot, others, full sun... I wonder if it’s a bit too delicate. I struggle to discern what will best survive my hot, often humid, climate without the blooms struggling and the foliage wilting and instantly succumbing to black spot.

Here is your earlier recommendation, Julia Child, now fully open, perhaps a bit paler than the norm, as usual here, but looking good:

Thanks @Eglantyne, understandable, I was being very specific and my climate differs to many of yours, so it was a tough ask...

However, I think @Marlorena (thank you!) has hit the jackpot again, in two simple words, ‘Golden’ and ‘Beauty’. It seems to get a little taller, perhaps, than I wanted, but if its as tough and disease resistant as they say... The blooms are described as amber, which means that here, they will probably be just the ‘good yellow’ that I was looking for.

Gertrude Jekyll flowering like mad! I've neglected my border but the roses are persevering thank goodness. Any suggestions for controlling black spot? I would like to do it organically if possible.
