I will be voting Pdoc .....if ordinary decent people give up then the zealots (of all persuasions) will take over.  And that’s what they want.

Still haven’t been up top to look!
Everytime I think it’s stopped, it’s started again, plenty of water though, 9 butts full to brim.

9 butts full???!!!! We've not had enough to fill up the bird bath.

Everything here is full to overflowing. Evidently the rain has been rather selective in a somewhat Charles Bowen way:
'The rain it raineth on the just
    And also on the unjust fella;
    but chiefly on the
    just, because
    The unjust hath the
    just's umbrella'

Except I doubt an umbrella would be doing you any good here today, unless you want some upper body exercise trying to hang on to it.

I haven't risked a walk up to the polytunnel this morning. I'd need a safety harness to get up the steps

I'll be voting too, if we get the option. As you say @chicky, moderate voices need to be heard as well

Pdoc - you have to go and vote even if you just spoil your paper in protest so they know you're not fooled or lazy.  Not voting plays into the hands of those who think they can play the voting public.

Blustery here with wet bits and short sunny bits.  Indoors pottering morning but I shall venture down to the PT after lunch as I have toms and curcubits that need potting on to keep them happy.

Very envious Chicky.  Adam Frost is a favourite. Remember him popping up occasionally on GH's version of GW and really enjoy his bits on GW now.   Nice chap too.

Are these boards not creative enough then Dove?

That's OK then.   Photos please of the Dry Garden when you go.   I saw it in May 2016 so would be keen to see what it's like a bit earlier on in the year.

Back from Wisley .....Adam Frost just gained a new No 1 fan .......what a lovely guy.  Really down to earth, and knows his stuff too.  He’s just finished filming his “stand in for Monty” GW’s. Really looking forward to seeing them.  I bought his new book (always nice to have a signed copy) - but they took the price of the talk(£5) plus 20% off, so it ended up as a bargain £11.  Will be perusing this evening.

Didn’t manage to leave the Wisley plant centre without a couple of geums (scarlet tempest, that Rosy Hardy was singing the praises of mid week, and mai tai, that was too pretty to leave behind 😳).
