Good morning.  Sunny today with lots of blue but still not warm yet.  Up and on parade early as we have a plumber fixing outside taps - connecting one that was installed but never had a water supply and fixing a leak on the main one.   About to bake yet another variation on oatmeal biscuits for patch later and then do some patch homework.

Have fun with the floor and tap BL.  Would love to see a photo Pdoc.  Happy anniversary for tomorrow.

Have a great day everyone, whatever you're doing.

Have finished painting the kitchen second coat It's pale blue to go with the blue, light grey and cream tiles and cream units. OH is still struggling with the tap, the flexible hose supplied wasn't quite long enough. He's been out and bought some copper pipe but it's only sold in metre lengths. I need water to wash my paint brushes and roller. At least the outside tap works, no water otherwise until he's finished.

I won't be doing the floor just yet. Haven't painted woodwork yet but some is windows so I need a warm day.

Tomorrow we are off to Southwold, seafood lunch.

Now off to the launderette with a single duvet. It has a yellow stain, must have been a grandchild and OH's grandchildren are staying this weekend.

Hello everyone. It’s a nice sunny morning here. Hubby has gone into town to have his second dose of chemo, and since there’s nothing I can do, I stayed snuggled under the bedclothes. The nights are really cooling down now. There’s fog in the valley which is slowly burning off.
ive got the first load of washing on. Aren’t we lucky to have machines to do our work for us.😊

It’s definitely better than taking the washing down to the river bank and bashing it about @Pat E 😆
Hope your OH doesnt feel too rubbish.
    Good morning all 😊 ☕️
Yes @Busy-Lizzie ... I went to bed early with a good book 📖
Now the blackbirds have woken me 🎶
Hope you had a good day yesterday 😊

Hi Dove. Are you early today? I wasn’t expecting to look in the Forkers yet. Had a call from our son. He’s coming down for a visit - he’s feeling a bit low. Typical Uni blues when the weather cools down - been there, done that. He hasn’t seen Hubby since the chemo started, so I think he’s feeling a bit strange about it all. Can’t say I blame him. Will be good to see him and or course his gorgeous cat, Pixel.

Yes @Pat E I’m early ... the dawn chorus woke me and it’s quite light outside. I quite like listening to the early morning Shipping Forecast ... and of course “Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise” ... well, I’m lucky to be relatively healthy and of course I am very wise indeed 😂 so I s’pose I shall have to be happy with two out of three 🙄

Sorry your son is feeling a bit down ... I think it sometimes is quite a shock for our children when their parents start showing signs of vulnerability ... I know my son got quite upset when I injured my knee and used a walking stick for a while.
