Good morning.  Bright and sunny here but fresh.   Rasta doggy has gone off for her haircut and we are on mega cleaning today ready for the family arriving tomorrow.

Best get on then.   Have a good day everyone.  Hope hubby is OK after his session Pat and that son perks up.

    Happy anniversary Pdoc and Moira.

     Happy Anniversary Punk and Moira🥂🍾

It’s a lovely morning here but forecast is cold blast on its was.  I will get the fleeces out as our rhododendron are just opening.
Pat your hubby sounds as if he has exactly the right attitude and is coping well  Sons visit will perk you both up.

I am so sad to say my first ever trip to Chelsea has been postponed till next year. Family have decided it will be too difficult for me, also daughters back op not been very effective so we have decided to wait. Disappointed but know it’s the right decision.

I am sorry I have been reading but not able to post. I hope everyone is ok and those in need of an extra hug get one!

    enjoy your day

    Hi all.
Thank you for your kind wishes.
It is a lovely day here, so I think we might take a trip out to Chatsworth.
    Keep fighting @Pat E.
Sorry about your trip @Lily Pilly, but it is the right decision.

Sadly, I don't think it will be ready till the middle of May. I didn't fully appreciate that having a piece of jewelry made, is not an instant thing.

better to have it done carefully, rather than quickly .
Hubby had jewellery made for his Mother: makes them very special.

Many congratulations to you both @punkdoc 🥂

@Lily Pilly ... I’m sure you’ve made the right decision ((hugs)). My former boss used to go every year, but she’d be as useless as a wet rag for a week afterwards ... and she was a robust and formidable woman 🤭It’s not somewhere I fancy going ... the local county show is quite enough pushing and shoving for me 😉

A loaf of bread is proving and eggs are simmering to make some baked Scotch eggs for supper ... today is going well so far 🤞

@Dovefromabove Thanks we won't manage fireworks but we are going to a concert at the Albert Hall tonight.

Congrats @punkdoc & Moira. @Pat E hope this "round" goes ok with Hubby. @Lily Pilly  probably a good call it's a bit better now they have restricted ticket sales but it is still a bit of a bun fight, even going into London is a bit of a shock can't believe I did it every day all those years.

Thanks Punkdoc for your support and Allotment Boy as well. He’s very tired tonight which makes it a bit awkward with our son visiting, but luckily he is someone who goes to bed fairly early anyway so once we had looked at Masterchef, there was a mass evacuation from the lounge room.😁

We’re in bed now, me with my Malmo novels and him flicking around his iPad.
    night all.
