🤔 the rain that was forecast for this afternoon now isn’t ... we might possibly get a sprinkling in the wee small hours ... I’m blaming you @hostafan and @raisingirl ... you’re using it all up 😠
    don't blame me , that @Lyn 's had it all !!
It can stop now, we’ve had enough, everywhere's  soaked, I want to plant out,  when was it dry last?
So cold even the heating came on in the night.

Managed to get out and do a job, restoring a war memorial in previous village, didn’t go till lunchtime as OH said the rain would stop, we only had one shower whilst we were out,   Plenty coming down now again, and very cold and windy, some web site said it was temperatures they would expect for January.

Welcome back to Norfolk @Busy-Lizzie 😊
    Apparently we have a 30% chance of 🌧 tonight ... 🤞
It feels chilly ... I might have to put some socks on 😦

Well the threatened rain didn't do much here either 5 mins yesterday even less today. Was planting late spuds on plot today had to water the rows before I ridged them up so they at least have a start. This wind is just whipping all the moisture away as soon as any falls. Hope we get rain tonight we need it desperately.
Our twin GC's are in full GCSE mode too their ma is finding it far more stressful than when she did them herself!

Morning everyone. Our promised rain didn’t appear either. They were correct about this morning’s temp though - minus 2. I assume that’s the end of the zucchinis and cucumbers. Haven’t been out to check.

    Hello @Pat E  :)
    I sowed my zucchinis yesterday.
Something woke me earlier ... not sure what ... think there were some cars leaving a neighbouring house ... I couldn’t get back to sleep so I’ve had a warm drink and have been
listening to tawny owls calling in the old oaks around the chalk quarry across the way. Now I think I’ll snuggle down again ...

I hope you can nod off again Dove. I’m bored today. I think I might suggest a little drive around.

    Morning ladies.
@Dovefromabove methinks the owls in these parts are hunkered down avoiding the howling gale blowing. I've just been up to tie the polytunnel doors together.

Good morning @Hostafan1 :) and everyone else  :) a bit blustery and drizzly here ... not looking like a gardening day 🙄
Gday @Pat E  :). Did you go out for a drive?

I went to my first U3A creative writing session yesterday. A nice group of people and interesting work ... a good start 👍

Blustery here too, just had some hail stones, OH is going walking in a forest, how stupid is that when there’s a hurricane 😱. Can you tell them, course you can't😀😀
Dreading going up to the GH area, let’s hope it’s all still standing.
I don’t think poly tunnels would survive here.
