    Morning all.
We've got rain now and I think we've had more rain in the night.
    I'm working 1.15 - 8.15 today as I was off yesterday.
    Devon.

Still no rain here, unless you count a few speckles on the ground that evaporated within minutes yesterday. We're due rain and high winds tomorrow, coinciding perfectly with a cycle training course (basically a refresher to get me back out onto roads). I hope it's not cancelled. On the other hand...

🤔 the rain that was forecast for this afternoon now isn’t ... we might possibly get a sprinkling in the wee small hours ... I’m blaming you @hostafan and @raisingirl ... you’re using it all up 😠

Raining here - oh well, the garden will love it. Might venture out to see if water butts are full.
Procrastinating my work ‘homework’ here, but on Aunty-duties later so better make an effort.
    Have a good day all.

    Hi all.
Woken up with what feels like a terrible hangover, wouldn't mind, but I didn't touch a drop last night. Shame as it looks like a nice gardening day.

Earlier in the week we were talking about climate change, and why, although it is urgent, we should not give up hope yet.  Anyone interested might like to read the blog in this link - sets it all out very well IMHO......

Changeable weather here.  Lots of busy clouds and winds.  81mm of rain last night and 81.9 since the 1st so not bad at all.  However, not looking at all friendly this afternoon so I shall just shuffle a few pots about to make it easier for OH to get Harry in and out of the garage (parking not his forte) and then get on with indoor jobs.

First tho, I need a snoozle.  Like Pdoc I woke up feeling hungover without having earned it so maybe there are bugs about.

Will read you link later Chicky.  I hope all who need rain get some but would quite like some dry and sunny weather form next Wednesday.  Pretty please.

    Hello all.
We arrived at the Norfolk Cottage last night, took the train after the plane then a taxi for the last bit from the station.

Lovely day, mostly sunny, 17°. We went to Morrison's this morning and to a charity shop where I bought a dozen wine glasses for about £5 and some 2nd hand books, novels and cookery books. We are thinking of having a party in the summer. Had lunch in a pub. Also looked in a shop that had plants, gardening stuff and pet foods. Bought some herbs and 3 pots for them.

The garden here was OK. Sweet neighbour had done some watering. Grass is still green, OH has just mowed it. I haven't done any painting yet.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
