    Those newts! Fabulous!
Off to bed... found a new podcast: ‘Something Rhymes With Purple’ - Susie Dent & Gyles Brandreth present a programme about language, words and vocabulary.

My garden and I live in South Wales.

How lovely to see the newts. I don’t know if we have them here. I’ve not seen them before.
weve just been woken by the fire brigade pager having a test pattern ring, them just nodding off again when the phone rang which was a private number and stopped after two rings.🤬
its cold this morning. Am snuggled under the doona.
Thanks for all the good wishes everyone.

Lovely stuff 😀. Looking forward to a weekend or two of hard labour - no gym membership needed here 👍🏻.  There’s a slope and 20 steps between the dumping place and the flower garden 🤪

Garden club talk tonight by the head gardener for the Queen (Savill Garden etc) .....do you think he’ll dish the dirt 🤔

I have a friend who was "Royal Household" police for 23 years, basically wherever the Queen was, he went with her. As a NON Royalist, I have to say  she comes across as " A rather good egg".

Hi folk ... just to let you know I’ve been up all night with D&V and feel rubbish so I’m on the sofa under a blanket and being  looked after.
See you when I feel more human ....

    Hi all.
Allowed out for a constitutional walk around the garden, and the first bird I saw, was a grey wagtail in the mud at the edge of the pond. They turn up every year and are lovely. really lifted my spirits.
I met the queen many years ago, only very briefly, but she was delightful, and very clued up.
