Lovely Chicky.  We used to do that.  Not sure if we brought any of the Easter decs.  Will have a look since we have a house guest for Easter.

Wall to wall sunshine today and tomorrow but only 15 or 16C expected so not sunbathing weather.   The new bed has arrived so lots of faffing going on.  Needless to say they've delivered the wrong feet so it will go on the floor for now till we can get the correct ones.  Joy.

Glad you're on the mend Dove.  Best wishes to Great Aunty Sylvia and anyone else feeling below par or really poorly.   Get well soon.  I hope your OH is doing OK too Pat.

Maybe a good souvenir would simply be loads of photos of the glass sculptures?  Free apart from entry to Kew and definitely worth it altho the plants will always be of more interest to me.

    Hi all.
Lovely sunny day, but very cold and a heavy frost.

    Hello all.

Sunny here too, but minus 3 overnight.  Fortunately I admired the Magnolia stellata when I first got home, before it got too chilly...

Thanks for the welcome back, folks!  Feeling much more chipper today thanks to some antibiotics.  I reckon the doctor's receptionist has had a urinary infection herself, because when I went to the doc's yesterday at 8am yesterday for a same-day appointment, the receptionist winced when I told her what was wrong, and gave me the first appointment slot even though I was no.13 in the queue...

Glad you're feeling a bit better, Dove.  Carefully does it...

    More congrats to Bow!   :)

Welcome back Obxx, sounds like you had a successful trip!

Glad you're feeling better, Dove and Liri. Coke / Pepsi is my 'recover from tummy bug' medicine of choice. Sounds wrong considering what it can do to coins, but a doctor suggested it when I had a terrible one ~30 years ago and I find it works a treat. Don't really drink it the rest of the time.

Chilly here and a light frost on the grass this morning. I'm going to put my bean poles up. Obviously no beans for a while yet, but I love how the poles look when they're ready & waiting and it's very exciting. To me, anyway...

Another Eucalyptus dropped its branch. Must have been the other day when it was windy.

    That’s a big one @Pat E :open_mouth:

Ive also found that something carbonated helps @LG_ ... an American friend recommended 7Up when I was ill years ago ...  I don’t feel ‘ready’ for Coke yet but OH got me some fizzy  water 😊

I heard it had to be Coke, not Pepsi, full fat , not diet and leave it to stand until it's flat.

Yes the 7Up had to be a bit flat.

The recommendation is usually flat coke, but the fizziness helps me too. I think the sugar hit when you're energy depleted from not eating plays a part as well.

Glad you're on the mend, @Dovefromabove.
