    Morning again all.
Still blowing a gale and we've not got rain added to the mix.
I need to retrieve the pots which are now blowing about the drive.

Dove, we’re finding it a bit difficult at the moment. Hubby hates have problems with his taste buds, as well as being very tired all the time. I dragged him into town and made him stay in the car so that he wouldn’t come into contact with other people’s germs, but he is rather grumpy. 🤬. I DO understand though. I’m tired as well.

I made a light Chichen soup tonight and he enjoyed that (I did sneak in a little chilli) plus fresh tarragon, parsley and sage. It all helps. 😏

    Morning all.

    Hugs for Pat.

Maybe Hosta and Dove should exchange phone numbers, if you haven't already, then you can have a decent chat in the early hours!

I'm off to the GH, when I've hung out the washing. Seeds to sow and plants to pot on.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Thanks Punkdoc and BLizzie. It’s lovely to get nice positive comments from you all. The truth is, I think I’m too old for the current situation.😏 just to keep keeping on as best we can.

Pat - you just have to take it a day at a time and not worry about the next one till it arrives.   Your chicken soup sounds nutritious which is just as important as tasty at the mo.  You need to keep his fluids up.  Big hugs for you both.

Had a very snory OH last night so a lie-in to catch up.  Sunny but vvery cool and breezy out there so pot watering and then, maybe, some planting.

Thanks Obelixx. Yes to all that. He’s very good about fluid intake.

Puzzled of Norfolk here ... 💡 maybe we woke her up?  We’d better whisper next time 😆

Morning all, afternoon Pat. Best wishes to you and your OH, Pat. One day at a time x

In the reclaim-the-end-of-the-garden project, I unearthed a little section of concrete just where it would be handy to have one. Better still, it was edged with the same bricks I made my path from, not mortared in, so I've dug them out and there is exactly enough to do another little job :). So that's the plan for today (involves a little light earth moving).

Bright, sunny and a little warmer here today. Bow got the final audition result - rejection. But it was third choice anyway, so doesn't affect anything. Still agonising over the decision!

Hope the weather improves for those in the West of the country. Have a good day all.
