Gorgeous here too @punkdoc ... I was going to make hot cross buns but there’s seeds to sow and seedlings to prick out ... tell you what ... I’ll nip down to W’rose and get enough buns and orange juice for the lot of us, then we can all get on with the important stuff 💐

Wonderful colours Pat 🍁🍂. By the time you get new leaves on the trees, littlest Chicklet will be with you 😵.  Arrangements are starting to be made, and she flies over at the start of September.

My Mum got through chemo by counting the sessions off.  When Mr P has the next one he’ll be a third of the way through.....and by the next one he’ll be halfway ..... and galloping into the home straight 🐎🐎🐎.

Off to sunny sussex for the day - car packed with chocolate gifts, potted plants (of course😉) and some alcofrolic bevs.

ThanksPunkdoc and Chicky - all the comments help, one way or another.
Is Chicklet going to Adelaide or Sydney?  Can’t remember what you told us. Sydney has a better climate!

Pat - she’s going to Sydney.  So all new to us - luckily she knows someone who is there this year, so has been getting lots of hints and tips 😁

Good. Lots of lovely beaches to occupy her in her off times.

    Morning all.

    Lovely picture, Pat.

They don't sell Hot Cross Buns in France. I'll have to wait until we go to Norfolk next week.
Going out to buy strawberries for Pavlova. Tomorrow we are going to daughter 2's for lunch. She has invited her sister and brothers and their families too. So all 13 GCs will be there. I am doing the puds, Pavlovas and chocolate mousse.

Mouse has been in the GH and eaten my sweet corn seeds. Resown, now on kitchen window sill.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Hot cross buns, orange juice and ☕️ available now ... plus supplies of Adnams Lighthouse, Badger Champion and Tribute ales for later 😇

I am nearly ready for some ale, it'e warm work this morning.
I could bring a nice chilled Loire white, and maybe some charcuterie.
