    Good morning all  😊 and 
    g’day to @Pat E and your OH if you’re looking in 😊 

    The sky is tinged with pink and the birds are singing ... it’s going to be another lovely day. 

    I’ve been watering shrubs and young trees as well as the young peas etc on the veg patch @Allotment Boy ... it does seem dry :/

    Hope Aunty has a marvellous party 🥳

    Hi Dove. Yes I’m looking for company as well. Hubby is having an afternoon nap and I’m trying to be quiet. I’m expecting our daughter to ring to say she has arrived safely at the destination she is driving to for Easter, so I’ve told him to ignore any phone calls.😡

    nice mild autumn day here. I’ve got two loads of washing on the line to get in.

    Hello Pat 😊. It must be hard for your OH to feel like this when he’s always been so active ... but once this gets sorted he can build his strength up gently and he'll be feeling much more like himself. 

    We’re at home for the weekend as OH is working, then going to MIL’s for a couple of days.  Must make some pasties for the trip ... we’re going as soon as he gets out of work on Monday, so he’ll be ravenous 😋

    Yes Dove, he is finding it a trial. He’s such a keen cook, and to find his taste buds have deserted him is annoying. We’ve learned that he is to have 6 lots of Chemo, so he’ll be really fed up be then.😏

    Someone told me that when their partner lost their sense of taste due to chemo, making the most of different textures helped to keep his appetite up. It’s an idea... 😊
