    Afternoon all.
Back from the RHS Spring Garden Show in Cardiff. Picked up some scented Pelargoniums for my patio pots and had a lovely wander round in the Welsh sunshine.

Love this quote, from an exhibit showcasing their plans for a garden and orchard in the grounds of a Cardiff hospital:

How on earth did they get gladioli to flower so early? Mine aren't even up yet.

I did think that about the Gladies - but there was nobody at the display to answer, as outside, not in the marquees. There were plenty of things up and blooming, but the usual Daffodils, tulips and other Spring bulbs looking fabulous. The best exhibit prize went to a collection of air plants.

I was wondering the same thing, gladioli in April.

    Sleep well, Dove.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
