Cold and windy here too. The bird feeders are thrashing about so much that the little birds can't hang on... but it should be calmer tomorrow, and then warming up. Can't wait for some gardening weather! Lots of annual seeds to sow to make the park pretty, apart from stuff to do in my own garden.
Your garden project sounds to be going well, LG. May we have more progress pics please, when appropriate?
Hope those aches & pains improve soon, Dove.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Have sown runner beans, sweet corn and cucumbers. Potted on the big tomato plants and pricked out into small pots the very baby tomatoes. Hardly any room left in the GH.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
@LG_ the third choice obviously knew they weren’t right for her ... as did she from the sound of it. . She’s done brilliantly. 👍
Ive been out in the car (just to Wrose) for the first time since Tuesday. It’s funny isn’t it ... you don’t realise just how bad you felt until you feel better ... the difference is amazing. Phew! 😊
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
According to the radar, the bottom end of your storm is due to land here in the next half hour or so Islander. I'd like the rain but really don't want the gusting winds blowing everything to bits.
Tomorrow looks OK tho so I hope it for you too and your treasures have survived.

Evening. Turned out nice in the end, we managed a couple of hours in the garden, Moira doing the hard work, me doing the "artistic" bits. The garden is incredibly dry, am thinking of getting the hoe pipe out. Anyone else watching GOT's, just seen 1st. part?
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
