    Hi all.
    I need some advice.
It is our 25th. wedding anniversary soon, and I have a plan.
Moira has her both her grand mothers engagement rings, which she doesn't wear, because she doesn't like them, and because she does not like to wear too many rings. They do however have great sentimental value.
I have "designed" a necklace using the stones, which a Sheffield jeweller can make, and which I think is lovely.
    Is this a good idea?

At the moment am on enforced rest [ no gardening ], for a few days, until everything settles down again. I think I may have been trying to do too much.

If she'd wear the  necklace, it's got to be better than it sitting in a box/ drawer /whatever?

I don't wear many ring's either Punkdoc as I find they get in my way. I think having them made into a necklace is a brilliant idea.

    I think it’s a lovely idea and I would love it 🥰

However, are you thinking of doing this in secret ... if so, only you know if this will be ok with her ...

I think another factor to consider is : she may neither like , nor wear the rings, but does she want them "broken up"?

I’d I’d personally prefer to be involved in the idea, but you know her Doc, and I don’t. 😏

I think I need to discuss my plan with her.

I would discuss it with her, and get some input on design. We had two of Mother in Laws  Knuckledusters broken up and made into sets of diamond studs and a matching pendant for each of her granddaughters.  They would not have been worn as they were, but now in a modern setting, they get worn and are a reminder of their grandmother.

Now the bad news. This afternoon I have squashed 13  Lily Beetles, some of whom were making wahay while the sun shone.
