Good deal WE.   years ago I bought a low, wooden framed armchair in a car boot for about 10€.  It needs reupholstering.  OH scoffed and wanted to chuck it when we moved but I have kept it.

Just imagine his face when exactly the same stle of chair was done up on "Money for Nothing" and fetched hundreds of pounds.   This one won't be getting fancy sheepskin tho.  It will be a comfy bedroom chair.

Hmmm I do sometimes hate it when I’m proved right so quickly 🙄

Don't know whether l feel curmudgeonly or not, but some maniac came hurtling up to a side junction as we were coming back from the SM. I was convinced he was going to end up burying himself in the passenger side where l was sitting. It was so fast l didn't  even have time to exclaim "Good Heavens" (or words to that effect >:) ) .He must have had bl**dy good brakes as he stopped dead.
I gave him my very best Paddington Bear Hard Stare, which must have done the trick, as he stayed at the junction for ages (either that or he frightened the wotsit out of himself). I was expecting some boy racer type, but he was old enough to know better.

Who gets the blame this time?

What do you fancy blaming. I'm leaning towards the scapegoat but I'm open to suggestions

I know who it *should* be, but please don't remind me of him every time I see this thread. Please!
