    I removed the solid deposits. I wondered about the pee, @raisingirl.  I didn't want to plant my babies straight into a hostile environment 😱 i think i might be turning into a helicopter gardener 😉

    Knowing me I'd burn my bum!   The only banks here are the pond edges and I'm staying well clear.  Soil like concrete so I can't plant anything anyway.  Funny how the weeds manage.

    As for planting in cat litter, when we were using it for the babies before they were allowed out we'd clean the solids out and bung the litter on he compost heap where it got "diluted".  I wouldn't plant straight into used stuff as it's probably too strong for plantlets.
