I've reported scam seed sellers to ebay quite a few times now and the seeds are still for sale. Sadly Ebay is full of fraud these days and they don't seem to care. Hopefully Paypal will sort it out for you.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
Oh sh*t and carp @islander ((hug)) I’m sorry that’s happened. Although eBay has so many good points it can be a scammer’s charter ... I know someone whose business was ruined by an eBay scammer who set him up good and proper 😡Â
What plants was it that you wanted?  Maybe someone on here could help 🤔Â
sniff! Yes, it was my beloved tree lupins. Ordered three PLANTS and they sent seeds of dubious origin and are refusing to refund. their ad clearly lists plants, rather than seeds at over £1 each!!!!.. they re extremely abusive and while ebay at first were great when they realises I had they claim ordered from ebay.ie, no refund, Oh and they said as I had orderd via paypal I could get a refund there. I ordered with my debit card, The total s not huge but the nastiness and the fact of being scammed and abused. am very unwell just now and it has demolished me.. getting too old for this
@islander ... I don't know anyone who has any plants but I do know someone who has usually some seeds .... let me get in touch with her and see if she can pop some in the post to me ... if so they'll be on their way to you in two shakes of a lamb's tail ... I think @Fairygirl must've been waving her magic wand

Kind but I tried seeds way back and could not germinate them.. and I still have the seeds they sent Told then they need to send postage first
ebay staff are thick; still trying to access the guest paypal a/c as they have not given me password etc Â
Too late ... she says they're on their way to me ... she says soak them in warm water first ... she'll send instructions.Â

Sorry I thought you meant you'd paid via debit card through Paypal which is an ebay option for buyers. A paypal account linked to a credit card is a sensible protection for on-line buyers though as you get double protection from dodgy sellers.

After a dozen more emails from them with the same misinformation I used the s word,,, no more mails,
I'm ever such a nicely brought up Dove, but I just used an expletive at the automated phone call claiming to be from BT that keeps telling me I've got a problem with my internet

At least yours was automated, Dove.  Several months ago, a brazen individual with a very pronounced Indian accent, phoned me asking to speak to me personally. He then informed me that BT had contacted them with the information that there was an urgent problem with my internet connection. Saying absolutely nothing, I switched my phone off. A few days later, same call. I decided to have some "fun", so I told him, "I expect you need access to my computer?" He replied, "Yes." "And you need my password?" I continued. He quickly got off my line and has never bothered me since!
What a coincidence @Danae dan-Ah-ee ... a few minutes after reading your post I got that very call, so taking a leaf from your book I said ‘Do you need access to my computer?’
You’ll never guess what his reply was ..........
he said ‘No Madam, we just need your bank details and your credit card number.’ 🤬
I’m afraid I told him he could just eff off!!!!!!!! 😡
