I always like to know about a candidate's track record for personal relationships.  Why should I expect anyone to keep their election pledges if they can't or won't keep their marriage vows?

If people were lied to, about the potential benefits of leaving, why would a second referendum be undemocratic?

If a successful candidate is found to have gained their seat by deliberately lying or breaking the electoral rules, his/ her election should be void and another election for that seat called. we are happy enough to demand re-votes in other countries when the election has been corrupted. Why not apply it to this country too?

Really interesting Reith Lecture on Radio 4 yesterday about that.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

This series of Reith Lectures is incredibly good and remarkably timely.

The jam must surely count as one of your 5 a day, though😉

    You're right B3, I didn't think of that!

Actually I must apologise I think for inadvertently advertising WW which I think is frowned upon?

Oh sh*t and carp @islander ((hug)) I’m sorry that’s happened. Although eBay has so many good points it can be a scammer’s charter ... I know someone whose business was ruined by an
eBay scammer who set him up good and proper 😡

What plants was it that you wanted?  Maybe someone on here could help 🤔
