There's no practical basic diy programmes. Surely it would make sense for one of the diy chains to fund a series.
It's a shame the sewing bee came after all of the haberdashery shops had closed down.

Quite.   His plots were also suburban garden scale with a lawn of some sort which is what most people have and he showed things like making paths or patios and laying lawns whereas with Monty it's always "we did this" and, of course, no grass.   I don't see how he can be the "nation's favourite gardener" when he can't tell people how to manage grass problems.

I cancelled my Landrover insurance this morning and after less than 3 months of the policy they will only refund me 30% of the premium. How is that even legal? :|

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I changed van ( due to MOT failure ) and Admiral charged me the equivalent of 7 months cover to change it, 21 days after I'd taken out the cover.
And they wonder why folk fiddle their insurance claims?

Stopped eating beef when I rented surrounded by grazing cattle fields and made friends with them., and lamb after raising twin pet lambs. I do not miss it at all.  Costwise also a good choice
Friends of my parents were beef farmers but they would never have their own meat back after the animals had gone to slaughter.  They most definitely were not vegetarians though.

I haven't seen it yet. Dogs and jungles? hmmm
I think I'll watch only connect and feel proud if I get half an answer correct and doubly proud if I understand the answers to the questions.
That's showing off.  I'd be happy if I understood half the questions, never mind the answers.

if everyone stopped eating beef, they'd ALL be slaughtered.

What many people fail to understand, or ignore because it doesn't suit their cause, is that it is livestock farming which has caused our countryside to be the way it is.  The upland areas in particular would quickly be overgrown with gorse and bramble if left to their own devices.

There’s a vast difference between the understanding of town folk and country folk.
