Oh yes it does't always work but it's always worth a try. I have had the same as you in the past. Some years ago I tried to get discount for cash at a motor dealers they told me bluntly they make more out of people having finance so they weren't interested in giving a discount. I think he was a bit shocked when we said ok keep the car then & walked out.

If you go on a comparison site and your existing car insurance company is cheaper you need the reference number , did that last year , they transferred me to they online person and got the cheaper rate , absolutely crazy
This year they matched the reduced figure by sending me a £40 M & S voucher

It's a lovely evening outside, warm wind and a nearly full moon. The garden is heaving with creepy crawlies and I just had a good wander around with a torch admiring the mini beasts. I found one vine weevil and it was well away from any pots or beds that I would have treated with nematodes so that's a good enough indication to me that I'd be wasting my time using them. Looks like a butterfly has hatched in the greenhouse too so I must remember to let it out in the morning. It wasn't the cocoon I've been nuturing though so there must be more hidden in there that I hadn't noticed.

🙄 How did I manage to put OH’s favourite smart black workwear top in the wash with my grey fluffy jumper 😤

The grey fluff won ... its all over his black top which has gone back in the wash ... I may have to invest in a new reel of sticky tape 🙄

I seem to remember a tumble dryer is good for getting rid of fluff, but we haven't got one so we do the sticky tape thing too😕

Any dry teasil heads still left in the garden?

Choose your weapon everyone. It's a lovely quiet sunny day so pick either a pressure washer or petrol lawn mower and make sure to drown out those pesky birds. o:)

I'd argue that strimmers and chain saws are being used for a constructive purpose, but radios, kids' screaming and wind chimes are just noise pollution.
Our neighbours are having their drive redone so we've got a digger outside. It has to be done sometimes, so I'm not bothered by it.
