@WonkyWomble make sure you have a word with the GP so they know exactly how poorly he’s been xx

    Hiya @WonkyWomble.
I'm so glad he's got you on his case. He's a very naughty boy.

Monring all/afties, evening Pat. I used to have some colchicums in a previous garden.Very pretty.
Glad hubs is a bit perkier, Wonks. Chain him to something secure though.... ;)
Perhaps commandeer a large lorry BL. Enjoy perusing and purchasing.
I have seeds to sow, but I want to finish older fairylet's bedroom cupboard and a few other things.
It's already warmer [ 8 degrees and no wind] and more pleasant at 9am than it's been for ages, so I'll get a good walk/run this morning and crack on with the seeds tomorrow. It's nice to have the time to do that instead of cramming it into weekends or half an hour after work.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    Morning all, hi Pat!

Glad to hear you're beginning to feel the benefits of retirement, Fairy - great not to have anyone organising your day for you.  (Apart from the odd Fairylet, presumably!)

Misty here this morning, but mercifully dry.  I must get my skates on and sort out what needs doing before I go to Scotland, early next Tuesday.  Food/husband/cat to organise, washing to do, paperwork to organise... and I'm singing in a concert next Monday evening, at short notice, entailing learning some music off by heart.  Not such an easy task now I'm 27...

Sarah Raven also sells Tithonia seeds, @Busy-Lizzie.
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Morning all. Am stood down from jury duty for the day, so have an unexpected gardening day :).

Hope all goes well at the doc's, wonky. Sorry to hear he's had such a bad time of it. Must be bad if he can stomach Lucozade :grimace:;)

Is it a maintenance visit, Liri? Hope the crossing is less windy than of late! And good luck with the word learning.

    Bye for now.

    Hi all.
@WonkyWomble, does hubby have a hospital doctor that helps manage his condition? Some haematologists have expertise in managing SCA.

Morning Pdoc, no, he used to years ago but all they did was take his blood for analysis, never any actual help so he got fed up with it. He's an impatient stubborn man of fifty. So I'm hoping there's more help on offer. They seemed to think his was quite mild but I'm inclined to disagree considering I've been treating him all these twenty years! His original doctor disinterested and dismissive and do OH gave up persisting basically.

@WonkyWomble It took my mother about 5 years to get anyone to accept that my father was having epileptic seizures. The trouble with intermittent relapsing conditions is rather like intermittent squeaks in the car - they never do it when the mechanic is watching.

I wish you luck, sending strength and persistence and ((hugs))

Hope everyone else is OK. Gotta run....

Hopefully the GP will have some info from NHS  111 service and a report of some kind from the paramedics ... I presume that’s how it works nowadays, if not why not?

Certainly the paramedics report gets to the GP. Don't know about NHS 111, but presumably so
