Great planter, Wonky!  Nothing like horticultural therapy... hope hubby's improvement continues and he behaves himself!

Very impressive Wonky. I wish I had your energy. I think my body is preparing for winter shutdown.😏

Thanks for the nice comments about my flowers Buzyl and Fairy. It always amazes me that they just pop up each autumn. I’ve had them for many years and tend to forget they’re there.

Im off to the little gallery again this afternoon for my volunteer shift, so after my second load of washing has been hung out, I’ll be ready to go.

Weve done very well with the rain. We’ve had a bit each day for the past 6 days and have received 36mm over that period. I’ve not had to turn hoses on for ages.

Hi Pat - hope the gallery shift was a good ‘un.  Great news about the rain (not a phrase you often hear over here 🤔☔️)

Magnolia survived our touch of frost and is now looking glorious .....bit pinker than usual this year 💕.   Lovely to be able to see it out the window in the morning......in fact lovely to see anything out the window in the morning.  I think getting up in the dark has got to be the worst bit of winter.

Have a good day peeps 😀

Hope the session at the gallery has gone well

Morning Chicky and Dove. Im glad to be home. It’s a long afternoon sometimes.😏

yes, Chicky, no complaints about the rain. There’s a big black cloud across the valley, so there might even be more tonight.  The magnolia sounds lovely.

I’ll certainly be having an early night, Dove. 😁

    Morning all. More rain overnight.
I was hoping to get a nasty patch of couch grass sprayed before the Hostas which were hiding it poke through again.

Morning all/afties, evening Pat. No wonder you're weary. Hope it went well.
Glad to see you're not slacking, Wonks  ;)
Too early for Magnolias here, but they'relovely when they do appear. I always fancied a stellata, but never got round to it.
Damp and dreich again here, and blustery winds for later.  Might have to continue painting. One more room to go, and a ceiling in the girls' bathroom, then it's just odd things here and there.
I managed to pull a muscle in my 'rear area' two nights ago, which meant I was limping around yesterday. I don't suppose the walk/run helped. Not so bad today though.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Now Mrs Mayhem blames Parliament for not "agreeing"!!! No hint of accepting the blame herself for coming up with such a crappy deal in the first place.
If she wasn't so vain and arrogant, she'd have gone into the negotiations on an all party basis, but , as ever, she believes she knows best.
