Looks like a day for watching the European athletics championships from Glasgow ... did anyone else see the amazing performance by Laura Muir last night ... I was yelling encouragement from the sofa ... sorry @Hostafan1 I know such things don’t interest you but at least it’s in Glashow and LM is a Scot 😉

I think I'd rather spend the day sticking needles in  my eyes than watching sport for a day. lol
I hope those who enjoy such things , enjoy it.

Morning all/afties, evening Pat.Glad you're ok despite the heat. The site seems to log peole out regularly these days. I found if I just refreshed the page it was fine. I've never logged out since I joined, but it's been very hit and miss in the last few months.
Didn't watch the 'thletics, Dove but I've caught up with the news this morning. I'm slightly biased [ ;) ] but she's been so consistently good recently, and still improving. Great for British athletics. KJT did well too. Go the girls!
    It's ok Hosta - we'll just ignore you..... :D
Rain's gone off for a while, but a load more to come later with high winds so I may be painting indoors, assuming I get my paint.
Betty the blackie was calling when I went out with the food earlier. She was waiting up in the tree. She's just delightful. Simple pleasures seeing her every day. Hope the little siskins are back today as well.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Hi all.
    Well I love you all!
Looks like I am going to be home alone for a while. Should have been going to Scotland, for the yearly get together with Moira's brothers and sisters, which I love. Unfortunately not really feeling up to being jolly and sociable, so I will be staying here. I might need a bit of cheering up.

How can you lie there and think of England
When you don't even know who's in the team
