Ventured further down the garden. Found a shed, in good condition, the council garden waste bin, and an incinerator!! Added our two compost daleks, and transferred all the tools from the garage to the shed. Now I'm tired.
The garden isn't huge, but I will have to wait until spring to recall what we have.
What a smashing garden @rowlandscastle444, looks well maintained as well, lucky you!
It's going to be a treat in the next few months, just pottering around and seeing what comes up, bet there's lots of spring bulbs in there.
OH's nephew has brought back the mended stone birdbath bowl and reinstated it on its cherub plinth. I watched from the window as rather cold here today so I'm counting that as gardening.
No work outside today. Raining yet again and EA are bringing the pumps back again! And our boiler has decided to play silly so friendly engineer in and out...hopefully sorted.
OMG! Torrential rain howling gale. Land slips and railways were knocked out. Flooding etc. A months rain in one day. Stayed indoors and wrapped presents to go in the post and began Christmas food prep. shelling nuts for stuffing etc. No gardening!
@Joyce Goldenlily, I heard about the storm, my daughter in Devon had torrential rain all day yesterday, said it was grim.
I bought 3 packs of reduced price bulbs at Hilliers today, thought they were worth a punt. Will pot them in plastic pots so I can keep them in the greenhouse away from the squirrels temporarily and then will drop them into the spare terracotta pots in the Spring - that's the plan anyway.
I enjoyed an hour beach walk in the morning, followed by going to a local hostelry for a club Christmas Lunch. The rain began again last night, it is still raining with the gales building. So depressing. I must get my tulips planted. I usually have 2 large pots of white lilies outside the conservatory, I must get them replanted. I very rarely see squirrels in my garden because we do not have large trees near us, thank goodness. We more than makeup for their absence with a variety of other wildlife such as stoats, weasels, badgers, foxes, rabbits, etc., etc.

We gardeners would always like more, even if what we have takes all our time.😁
