Dead headed the last of my daffodils. Watered plants in greenhouse and those in conservatory waiting to go in. Built small retaining wall for raspberries. Then spent time pondering what to put with my tree stump.
A foggy start to the day, new shed arrived at 07.30am so had to be there to unlock gates and direct driver to my plot, back home for breakfast then a few chores in town before going back to allotment to start assembly must say it all went very well but then it's not the first one I have ever done. The slab base has been down for a few months so that was nice firm and settled took about two hours, to get it together roof on and felted, still have a few bit's and the door but that can happen tomorrow.

Hello everybody , back off hols , garden looking good Had a trip to Keukenhof garden in Holland for the spring bulb festival during hols and they where absolutely stunning
I sowed 15 courgette and 15 squash seeds this morning, had a move/clear up in the GH and put more seedlings out to harden off for a few days before planting out. Also going to harden off the Penstemon cuttings that rooted and are now bushy little plants approx 5 inches tall - I have pinched them out a couple of times to help them thicken up nicely. OH painted the shed, still dull green - I wish he would paint it red or blue to liven it up. However he is happy with the colour and at least it blends in with the hedge and grass.
Very overcast and coldish this morning so didn't get out until after lunch. Tied up a climbing rose and clematis coming adrift on top of the rose arch, then weeded the main border. One down, 18 to go! @Hampshire_Hog , that shed looks great, can't believe you did most of it so quickly, ours was blood, sweat, tears and a lot of swearing. I'm thinking of getting one of those small sentry sheds just for me nearer the house, might then be able to get most of my gardening 'stuff' out of the porch.
Shed envy! Still saving for a shed... Wet first thing, but got out this afternoon and finished prepping the raspberry bed, riddled 4 more buckets of soil from the turf stack, planted the raspberries and picked some rocket. Then had a little walk round willing everything to grow lol! Clematis is resprouting well and the centranthus is starting to flower. Also spotted crows nesting in the chimney! Chimney guard arrives tomorrow so they best enjoy their last night!
