The ring of Fire are doing ok, a bit slow, but the biquinho are very slow. As you say it’s cold. I don’t have a greenhouse and the windowsills are too chilly at the moment, so they are floating around the kitchen on trays! 😬
Potted up Blackberry and a few other plants. Gave the cold frame another coat of paint and then started to put up a few of the many seedlings that need potting on only 14 trays to go.
I felt a bit dizzy and sick this morning, so had a couple of hours in bed. OH mowed the path around one of the fields and recycled our newpapers to the animal hospital. I couldn't resist going outside when the sun appeared - absent for a few days and now the GH is HOT. I sowed some petunia seeds, planted out some foxgloves grown from seed and Penstomen that I had grown from cuttings taken last Autumn thanks to encouragement on here. I hope they flower this year.
Getting over surgery to my back for sun damage caused back in the 1950's when in the Royal Navy but pleased to be able to sow carrots, beetroot and spring onions, plus level the plot where the brassicas will be planted, and view spring flowers at the top end of the garden, so pleasing.
We spent a few hours at the allotment not doing much wife sat in the sun giving orders I ignored her and did my own thing, which was not a lot checked all the seedlings and plants gave some a drink.
Did a bit more sorting out of the sheds and poly tunnel beginning to get some order to all the chaos still have a wheelbarrow full of little bits and pieces I need sort out and shelves to put up.
Our quarterly skip's arrive on site tomorrow so I can get rid of a load of rubbish that's been sitting around.
Beautiful clear skies and sunshine but a chilly N / NE breeze all day so we gave up and went for a pub lunch. 🍺 🍷 🥧🥧

Sounds painful @cornelly. Hope you recover soon, as well as anybody else feeling unwell. Pottered around this afternoon, tying in clematis and climbing rose. Potted up 5 pots of catmint and teucrium for our Garden Club's Plant and Swap next month. Green bins got emptied this morning and I've already filled one of them. Garden Club tonight is about opening your garden for the NGS, as well as tea and cake so looking forward to that. My sweet peas are up, sowed last week and a few morning glories.
Hampshire_Hog me to think I'll order more save me walking or I could always patent it and make my fortune. I've been up since around 2 am so not with it today head full of fog. I like to make at least one person laugh each day and you the one today.
