It rained a bit here yesterday afternoon which cleared the snow, but it's raining again today so probably no gardening other than taking the kitchen waste out to the compost bin.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
More snow for us, but it's going to be 30 degrees warmer by the weekend, so it'll all melt. I'm worried that most of my newly planted perennials will end up heaving out of the ground if this pattern keeps up all winter.
@CrankyYankee Yes, it is. I've yet to wander further down to photograph more of it. But it is a mature garden, well looked after by the previous owner.
Well after all the rain and flooding in the area today NO RAIN! So out harvesting some leeks and kale as well as some more parsley which surprisingly has survived after all the frosts. So the 6 willows are now pollarded on the edge of the orchard and collected the mower after it had been serviced.
Had a bit of sunshine this afternoon, so opened Greenhouse for a bit of ventilation and topped up bird feeders Rain this morning so jobs indoors today , everything is so “wet “
